Privacy Policy

You can browse DealJoo without an account. Some features, including verified-account listings and internal messaging, require sign-in. DealJoo does not collect payment data. When you follow a link to an external store, that store's privacy policy and terms apply.

Accounts and messaging

When you create an account, we may process your display name, email address, and a phone number if phone verification is enabled later, together with the contact settings you choose. DealJoo messages are stored so conversations can be displayed, unread counts can work, and blocking, reporting, and abuse prevention can be supported. Your email address and phone number are not shown to the other person inside DealJoo Chat.

Public questions and comments

Any visitor may post a public question or comment on a listing after the security check, without providing an email address. These posts are public. Replies from the owner of a listing linked to a verified account carry a “Seller” badge; other replies are not an identity confirmation.

Seller ratings and reviews

Verified DealJoo users may publish a 1–5 star seller rating and an optional comment after a two-way DealJoo Chat interaction. Reviews display a shortened reviewer display name, the rating, comment, and a verified-interaction label. Email addresses and phone numbers are never included in public review data. Reviewers can update or delete their own review.

Account data controls

From My Account, a verified user can download a JSON copy of their account data and can delete the account. Deletion removes contact details and public listings, revokes active sessions, and anonymizes the account in safety records whose structure must be retained for abuse prevention.

Google Analytics

DealJoo uses Google Analytics 4 to measure site performance, including page views, engagement and traffic sources. We also measure clicks on external shopping links as an analytics event so we can understand which sections and products are most useful. We do not send visitor names, email addresses or payment data in these measurement events.

Consent

Non-essential analytics storage is denied by default for a new visitor. You can allow analytics or choose “Essential only” in the privacy notice. You can reset your choice by clearing this site's browser data and revisiting DealJoo.

Individual marketplace data

When you submit a listing, we may collect your name, the seller contact method you choose, item details, images, city, and country. Listings linked to a verified account can use DealJoo Chat, while phone-only sellers can choose WhatsApp or calls. Email addresses are not displayed publicly; the data is used to review listings, facilitate contact, and prevent misuse.

Advertising and sponsored content

DealJoo may later display direct advertising or ads from advertising networks. Advertising areas are clearly labeled “Advertisement” or “Sponsored”. Network advertising is not enabled from the admin panel until the appropriate consent and privacy requirements are configured. When enabled, an advertising network may use its own technologies under its policies.
